A small, youth-run non-profit in Sofia — and the people who keep it running.
Sapere Aude Bulgaria started with a simple frustration: Bulgarian classrooms rarely leave room to ask who benefits when a crowd stops thinking, or how a purchase is shaped before you ever reach for your wallet. We wanted a place for that conversation to happen properly — outside a lecture hall, with people our own age.
We're a volunteer-run team based in Sofia. Most of us met through our own first Erasmus+ exchange, decided we wanted to keep doing this work, and registered the organisation so we could start sending others too. We're still small — the kind of NGO where everyone on the team has also been a participant.
